Our WeSpeak coaches play an incredibly important and integral role in WeSpeak. Our accomplished, hand-picked coaches help other women speakers through participation in our WeSpeak programmes and events.
Women on the rise
WeSpeak has created a network of best-in-class coaches who offer voluntary support to women professionals in Bermuda. To cultivate a diverse team of coaches, we offer 'Coach the Coaches' workshops, designed by leading executive coach Michael Crystal of Myriad Development, to deliver advanced training via an in-person interactive ‘action-learning’ approach.
WeSpeak Coaches leave these workshops trained to coach fellow professionals – to help them speak confidently in front of a group, prepare for panels, keynotes, board meetings and other speaking events.

Meet our Principal Coach
Michael Crystal
Master Corporate Executive Coach, Myriad Development
Combining his formal education, professional certifications and work experience, Michael has successfully coached more than 300 executives, including four who appeared on Fortune magazine’s '50 Most Powerful Women in Business' lists and eight of whom went on to become CEOs. He has facilitated hundreds of group sessions and team meetings and has designed, produced and delivered a wide array of training programs to thousands of participants. Michael has also authored: “Succeeding In Your Sandbox: A Straightforward Guide to Doing The Right Things Right When You’re In Charge,” described as 'The new work bible for people managers' by a FORTUNE 500 Global Head of Human Resources.

WeSpeak hosts a spring and an autumn Coach the Coaches training event. If you would like to join us in our commitment to ensure more women become confident public speakers, you can submit your name for consideration as a WeSpeak coach. Alternatively, if you know someone who would make an incredible WeSpeak coach, you can drop their name instead.
Coach submissions will be reviewed by our WeSpeak Coaching Committee on an ongoing basis.
